Apple Boot Camp bringt Windows auf Intel Macs

Apple hat Boot Camp Beta freigegeben. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Bootmanager, der die Installation von Windows auf einem Intel Mac erleichtern soll. Damit scheint das OSx86 Project überholt. Dies kämpft noch mit Treiberproblemen, unter anderem der Grafikarte. Mit Boot Camp sollen Windows und OS X problemlos laufen, bis auf folgende Ausnahmen unter Windows:

  • Apple iSight
  • Apple Remote
  • Apple USB Modem
  • Apple Keyboard Backlight (MacBook Pro)

Da ich selbst nur eine PPC Powerbook habe, kann ich es nicht testen. Laut Forenberichten soll es aber schon sehr gut funktionieren.
