Slashdot.org verweist auf einen Artikel von Northwest Florida Daily News. In dem Interview behauptet Stephen Hawkins der verstorbene Papst Johannes Pauls II habe gebeten nicht am Ursprung des Universums zu forschen, da es das Werk Gottes sei. Die Wissenschaftler beweisen aber Humor:
